Rise n’ Shine! It’s Thursday July 9th, 2009. Noodles’ Nugget of Minutia of the Day is: The Basque language has no relation to any other European language. On the Iberian Peninsula, it predates all Latin and Germanic languages that are currently spoken there. The Basque “country” (as there is currently not a seperate Basque nation.) is located in northern Spain and southern France. On of the best known Basque cities is the port city of Bilbao, located in northern Spain along the coast.
