Ever wondered what the sun looks like in 3-D?
Get your 3-D glasses out my friends because this is something you do NOT want to miss.
The STEREO satellite mission has provided an unbelievable view of our Sun. The revolutionary satellites follow and track energy and matter that is emitted by the Sun. It shows in detail for the first time in 3D the true structure of CMEs or (coronal mass ejections) and help us understand why they happen. STEREO, most importantly could provide an alert system to these potentially deadly bursts of solar radiation, with its unique side-viewing perspective adding it to the fleet of Space Weather detection satellites. Pretty wild? When you see it with the glasses on…it’s truly awesome!
